AstralShift developed the title as an action horde survival deckbuilder inspired by Dante’s Divine Comedy. The narrative framework places players in a mythological setting where they must navigate dangerous environments. The game’s design focuses on mixing and matching abilities to survive increasingly difficult encounters.
The Early Access build includes two unique levels themed around the Circles of Hell. Players can access over 40 abilities to experiment with different combat strategies. The development team also included four Poets of Limbo that players can rescue and befriend during their journey.
The game launches globally on July 16 without a listed price point at this time. AstralShift stated, "Hell Maiden is an action horde survival deckbuilding game inspired by Dante’s Divine Comedy."
