Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders start June 25
Rockstar has confirmed that pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI will begin on June 25. The game will be offered through digital storefronts and select retailers.
The announcement was paired with the official cover art. Rockstar says the artwork is also available as downloadable media through the official Grand Theft Auto VI website.

Pre-orders open next week, but pricing is still missing
Rockstar has not announced pricing yet. The company has also not confirmed any editions, bonuses, upgrade paths, or physical collector bundles. For now, the announcement only confirms when pre-orders begin.
Grand Theft Auto VI is currently listed for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar’s official page still does not mention a PC version. The game is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026.
The game returns to Vice City and expands the setting to the state of Leonida. Rockstar’s official description focuses on Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, two main characters who become involved in a criminal conspiracy after a job goes wrong.
Rockstar’s character list also includes Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Dre’Quan Priest, Real Dimez, Raul Bautista, and Brian Heder. The official page shows multiple locations across Leonida, including Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia, and Mount Kalaga.
Grand Theft Auto VI was previously delayed from May 26, 2026 to November 19, 2026. With pre-orders now dated, Rockstar is starting the retail rollout less than five months before launch.
Pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI will officially begin on June 25 on digital storefronts and at other select retailers.
