Goldhofer has introduced the PST/SL-ES (285), a specialized rotor blade transporter designed to handle the increasing size of modern wind turbine components. This vehicle addresses a critical logistical challenge for wind farm construction by offering adjustable track width, which allows operators to stabilize heavy loads during transport. The adjustment mechanism rotates the axles outward to widen the track by 300 mm, providing the lateral stability needed for safe movement of massive blades.

The transporter is built with a modular power system that supports both diesel and electric operation. Goldhofer presented an optional electric power pack alongside the standard diesel unit to accommodate sites with strict noise or emission regulations. The standard diesel power pack typically lasts for one shift, covering six to eight hours of operation before refueling is required.

The vehicle was unveiled at Goldhofer's Innovation Days event, showcasing the company's focus on specialized heavy-haul engineering solutions.
