Version 1.0 includes the complete story campaign from the tabletop board game, including the climactic final chapter. The launch features all 17 playable heroes, with the final hero joining the game at release. Players can also access a standalone demo experience through the Road to Frosthaven campaign to try the game before purchase.
The update introduces improved onboarding through a digital-only Road to Frosthaven introduction, tutorial, and UI displays. Enhanced cooperative play allows teams to connect through improved multiplayer systems and networking enhancements. Players can tailor their experience with customizable House Rules, a new opening cinematic, and hero unlock videos. A fully implemented Codex explores the lore, characters, creatures, and biomes of the Frozen North without requiring note-taking.
Early Access began on July 31, 2025, and Snapshot Games has incorporated community feedback to refine the game. The full launch represents the culmination of that journey, delivering the most polished version of Frosthaven to date.
