Microsoft's Forza Horizon 6 has generated over $140 million in revenue from Premium Edition sales alone before its global launch. The Premium Edition early access began on May 15, and the game is set to launch globally on May 19.
Over 1 million players before launch
The Premium Edition costs 120 USD (about $120). According to reports, over 1 million players have already played the game before launch, with an estimated 1.2 million Premium Edition purchases. On Steam, concurrent players peaked at 178,000 on May 16.
The game has received a Metacritic score of 92 based on 65 reviews, earning a must-play badge. The revenue figure only accounts for Premium Edition sales, so the total may rise once the global launch occurs and other editions are counted.
Insider Gaming and DayOne reported the sales figures. It remains unclear how much revenue will increase after the full global release on May 19.
