Bandai Namco and developer Dimps are releasing the final downloadable content for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 on July 8. This update, titled Future Saga Chapter 4, marks the end of the game's major expansion cycle. Players who have invested time in the game will get one last chance to access new story content and character options before the DLC support concludes.
Future Saga Chapter 4 brings new character forms and quests
The update brings significant additions to the roster with new forms for two key characters. Chronoa and Goku will receive new playable forms that expand the game's combat variety. These changes offer fresh strategic options for players who enjoy building custom teams in the fighting system.
Beyond the character updates, the DLC introduces a substantial amount of new gameplay content. The package includes one Extra Missions Arc and two Parallel Quests for extended play. Players will also find four additional moves, four Super Souls, and six new costumes or accessories to customize their avatars.
The release adds one new stage to the battle arenas and eight new loading screen illustrations. These visual and environmental additions round out the package with aesthetic and functional upgrades. The content is available globally on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam.
We looked at previous DLC drops for Xenoverse 2 while tracking Bandai Namco's release schedule. This final chapter delivers the last major content update for the title across all supported platforms. The July 8 launch date is confirmed for all listed systems without regional restrictions.
