Cuktech has released a new car charging accessory in China that combines wireless charging with a retractable wired cable. The product is designed for drivers seeking rapid device charging without the hassle of loose cables. The unit supports up to 90W of wired power, which covers most modern smartphones and some laptops.

Retractable cable supports 90W wired output for compatible devices

The Cuktech 10 Car Magnetic Wireless Charger with Retractable Cable mounts to the dashboard using a standard 17mm ball joint. This mechanism allows for 360-degree rotation so users can position their phone for navigation or hands-free calls. The main unit measures 80 x 59 x 42 mm, keeping the profile compact enough to fit most vehicle interiors.

The charger features a built-in 0.7-meter USB-C cable that retracts into the housing. This cable supports fast-charging protocols including USB PD, PPS, QC, and Xiaomi HyperCharge. The front panel is made of 6H-rated 2.5D tempered glass to resist scratches from keys or other objects in the cabin.

Wireless charging output maxes out at 15W for supported Android devices and 7.5W for iPhones. The charger does not support the newer Qi2 standard, which may limit compatibility with newer MagSafe accessories. Power is delivered through an included dual-circuit 12V to 24V car adapter that fits standard cigarette lighter sockets.

Cuktech claims the retractable mechanism has been tested for 20,000 pulls and the cable for 10,000 bends. The wired output varies by device, offering 90W for compatible Xiaomi phones, 65W for select laptops, 60W for Samsung devices, and 43W for Huawei hardware. The unit is currently available on JD.com in China for 149 yuan (around $21.99).
