Pearl Abyss released a hotfix for Crimson Desert on August 15, addressing stability issues that disrupt gameplay for PC and console players. This update, version 1.000.460, brings the game to version 1.18.01 and targets specific bugs that cause crashes and visual errors. Players who experienced unexpected disconnects or interface glitches should see improvements in their daily sessions.
Second weekend patch resolves NPC menu delays and housing display bugs
The patch resolves several critical interaction and display problems. It fixes delays in the NPC interaction menu and corrects issues where housing items failed to display properly. The developers also addressed unexpected crashes and errors that affected map visibility during exploration.
Some known issues remain unresolved in this release. Players may still encounter difficulties with NPC and mount interactions, fishing mechanics, and quests for the Greymane faction. The Evasion key behavior also continues to function inconsistently across different playstyles.
Platform-specific bugs require additional attention from the development team. Mac users report cursor misalignment when using keyboard and mouse, along with issues applying colorblind filters in the UI. PlayStation players may experience screen freezes when rapidly entering names for pets or horses. NVIDIA GTX 1060 users face white screen errors when using FSR Upscaling and Frame Generation, and FSR4 rain rendering issues are also reported.
We looked at the last Crimson Desert update earlier while tracking Pearl Abyss patches. That previous fix addressed equipment quantity glitches, and this new release continues the focus on balance and stability. The hotfix marks the second patch released this weekend, showing a rapid response to community feedback.
