Boox has revealed the Poke 7 and Poke 7 Pro e-readers ahead of their scheduled May 21 launch. The company introduced the devices one day early to showcase the refreshed lineup that replaces the previous generation models.

New e-readers feature identical designs with improved front lights and flush tempered glass displays.

Both e-readers share an identical physical design featuring a 6-inch monochrome display with 300 ppi resolution. The screens use flush tempered glass and include an improved front light system. Each device measures 6.7mm thick and weighs 165g while housing a 1,500mAh battery.

The standard Poke 7 contains 2GB of RAM paired with 32GB of internal storage expandable up to 2TB via microSD card. The Poke 7 Pro upgrades the memory to 3GB RAM while keeping the same storage configuration and Qualcomm octa-core processor. Both models run Android 11 out of the box.

The Poke 7 costs ¥1199 (~$176/€152) in Blue, White, and Sand color options. The Poke 7 Pro retails for ¥1399 (~$205/€177) exclusively in White. Both devices include a free case and stand with purchase.
