Asus has unveiled a Cyberpunk 2077-themed ROG Xbox Ally X handheld. The device is a custom case mod created in collaboration with CD Projekt Red and PC builder AK Mod. It is not a standard retail product and cannot be purchased.
Custom case mod by AK Mod
The case mod uses layered spray paints, weathering techniques, and custom water decals. AK Mod applied sand and salt to create organic wear, then finished the design with a yellow neon finish inspired by the game. AK Mod also built a stand based on Johnny Silverhand's cybernetic arm.
Asus made three of the stands. One will be given away to a Cyberpunk 2077 fan. The company will also give away a copy of Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition on May 21.
Asus has not confirmed whether the special edition handheld itself will be given away. The company announced the project through Asus ROG and ROG Global on YouTube.
