The company announced the device on May 20, 2024, and simultaneously opened pre-orders in Denmark, Finland, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. The laptop is also listed in the Netherlands and the UK, though pre-orders have not yet opened in those regions.

The ProArt PZ14 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite X2E-88-100 chipset paired with 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM. It includes 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 storage and a 75 Wh battery. The device weighs 790 g and measures 319 x 206 x 90 mm. It lacks a 3.5 mm audio jack.

It remains unclear when the ProArt PZ14 will be available in North America. Asus has not confirmed a launch window for that region.
