The developer has previewed version 1.5, titled 'Dreamscape of Wind and Snow,' which introduces new combat challenges and roster additions that will reshape the current meta. This update matters because it expands the game's narrative scope while providing new ways to test character builds against tougher enemies.
New character Typhoeus and boss Gloomwald’s Rage reshape the semi-open world
The core of this release centers on new playable characters and a significant regional threat. Players can now recruit Typhoeus, an icefield huntress archer who brings a distinct elemental playstyle to the squad. Additionally, Purrchena becomes available through the Tribute Event, offering another option for players looking to diversify their team composition without grinding standard progression routes.
Combat difficulty scales with the introduction of a new regional boss named 'Gloomwald’s Rage' in the Snowy Forest area. This encounter serves as a primary test for the new characters and requires players to adapt their strategies to handle the boss's mechanics.
