Embark Studios is changing how it delivers updates for ARC Raiders. The developer will move from monthly updates to two major updates per year. The first major update under this new schedule is called Frozen Trail. It is scheduled to arrive in October 2025.
Frozen Trail brings new map and enemies
Frozen Trail will include a new map, new ARC enemies, and new progression systems. Embark says the larger updates are meant to genuinely change how players experience the game. In addition, a new Trader mechanic for late-game players will be introduced next week. A dedicated live service team will continue to provide regular updates, balance fixes, bug fixes, store updates, and player events.
The Frozen Trail update is expected to launch globally in October 2025.
Embark Studios stated that the decision to release major updates twice a year is aimed at making them larger in scale and more impactful. The developer emphasized that regular live updates will continue alongside these major releases.
