is releasing two new laptop processors based on an architecture from 2019. The Ryzen 3 3100U and Ryzen 5 3501U are entry-level chips that revive the Zen+ design. These CPUs target budget laptops where cost matters more than cutting-edge performance.

Two new Picasso chips revive 2019 Zen+ architecture

Both processors belong to the Ryzen 3000 series 'Picasso' family built on TSMC's 12nm process. They use the FP5 socket and are designed for thin and light notebooks. AMD is positioning them as affordable options for everyday computing.
