Remedy Entertainment releases surprise patch for PC and consoles

Remedy Entertainment deployed this update to bring version 1.200.009 to the PC platform alongside version 1.2.10 for consoles. The PC update introduces support for 4 and FSR Frame Generation, expanding the toolkit available for performance tuning. These additions allow players to adjust their visual settings with more granular control over rendering quality and frame rates.

The game now utilizes the Agility SDK for Opacity Micromaps and Shader Execution Reordering, which enables support across multiple GPU vendors. On systems where FSR Super Resolution is selected, FSR 4 is automatically enabled for supported graphics cards. Users can also manually enable FSR Frame Generation through the graphics settings menu if their hardware supports the feature.

Beyond graphics enhancements, the patch addresses several technical issues that affected gameplay and audio synchronization. Developers fixed lingering audio sync problems that occurred during cinematics on all platforms. The update also resolves a bug where the Crossbow Cult Stash blocked access to the Lighthouse in New Game Plus and fixes a potential crash triggered by using Quick Slots under specific circumstances.

Remedy Entertainment released the following official changelog to detail the changes in this update:
