Acer has released the A543, a 14-inch Windows tablet that targets users needing a large screen for productivity without the bulk of a laptop. The device ships exclusively in China through JD.com, so buyers outside that region will not find it in local stores. This launch gives us a look at how Acer is positioning mid-range hardware for the Asian market with specific component choices.

The 14-inch Windows device ships in China with up to 1 TB storage

The tablet runs on an Celeron J4105 processor, which provides four cores and four threads for basic multitasking. It features a 14-inch touchscreen with a 1,920 by 1,200 pixel resolution and a 60 Hz refresh rate. The display covers a 16:10 aspect ratio and achieves an 84 percent screen-to-body ratio for a modern look.

Acer A543 Specifications

  • Processor: Intel Celeron J4105 (4 cores, 4 threads, 1.5 GHz base, 2.5 GHz boost, 10W TDP)
  • Display: 14-inch touchscreen, 1920 x 1200 resolution, 60 Hz, 16:10 aspect ratio, 84% screen-to-body ratio
  • Memory: 8 GB, 12 GB, or 16 GB LPDDR4x RAM
  • Storage: 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB
  • Battery: 6,000 mAh, 45 W charging, ~7 hours video playback

Memory configurations start at 8 GB and go up to 16 GB of LPDDR4x RAM. Storage options include 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB of internal storage. The system relies on a 6,000 mAh battery that supports 45 W wired charging to keep the device powered.

Connectivity includes one USB-A 3.0 port, two USB-C ports, and a Micro HDMI output. One of the USB-C ports is full-function and supports external display connections. A 3.5 mm headphone jack is present, and the tablet uses dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless links.

Pricing starts at CNY 2,599 for the 8 GB and 256 GB model, which costs around $386. The 12 GB and 512 GB version is priced at CNY 3,089, or about $459. The top-tier 16 GB and 1 TB configuration lists for CNY 3,999, which is approximately $594.

Acer claims the battery lasts around seven hours for video playback, six hours for web browsing, and five hours for office work. The tablet weighs 1.5 kg and measures 317.2 by 213.5 by 10 mm. We looked at the Acer Aspire Go 15 Snapdragon C earlier while tracking Acer launches.

No international release has been announced for this specific tablet model. The device remains available only in China for now. Buyers should check JD.com if they want to purchase the A543 directly.
