Activision released a major update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone on June 25, introducing new maps, weapons, and game modes. This Season 4 Reloaded patch matters because it reshapes the competitive multiplayer landscape with fresh content and significant weapon balance changes. Players seeking new challenges or looking to optimize their loadouts will find immediate adjustments to their favorite firearms.

Activision releases Season 4 Reloaded with new multiplayer maps and weapon balance changes

The update arrives as patch 1.100 for current-generation consoles and version 2.00 for last-generation systems. Activision added two new multiplayer maps to the rotation, including the 6v6 and 2v2 map Zenith, as well as the 6v6 map Launch. These additions expand the available battlegrounds for standard multiplayer matches and provide fresh environments for tactical gameplay.

New weapons and attachments join the arsenal through in-season challenges and event rewards. The AN-94 assault rifle and Executioner’s Duet melee weapon are available as event rewards. Players can also unlock the XR-3 Ion Vulcan Minigun for the sniper rifle, the DS20 Mirage Dual Fire Kit for the assault rifle, and the Velox 5.7 Carbine Chassis for the pistol through weekly challenges.

Weapon balance changes directly impact damage ranges and fire rates across several popular firearms. The Maddox RFB received a medium damage increase from 22 to 23, with its effective range extended to 32.4 meters. The AK-27 saw its close-range damage rise from 26 to 28 inside 16.5 meters, while the X9 Maverick gained range, increasing from 16.5 meters to 20.3 meters. Conversely, the Voyak KT-3 suffered a damage range reduction from 25.5 meters to 22.9 meters with increased recoil, and the Warden 308 lost range from 41.9 meters to 32.4 meters. The MXR-17 ANVL Conversion fire rate increased from 400 RPM to 500 RPM, and the Grimhawk saw a minor close-range damage bump from 19 to 20.

A new limited-time mode called Squad Gun Game is now available for players to try. The update also introduces a seasonal variant for the Rebirth Island map. These additions provide varied gameplay experiences alongside the standard multiplayer offerings. We looked at the last call of duty: black ops 7 update, several of the same balance and stability themes came up. The patch confirms the immediate availability of these features globally on June 25.
