The TerraMaster F4-425 Pro NAS introduces a compact storage solution that targets home users and small offices seeking reliable data management without enterprise complexity. This release matters because it combines high core counts with affordable pricing, giving buyers more processing power than typical consumer network drives.

Compact drive with dual Ethernet and upgradeable memory targets small offices

The new device ships in metal enclosures to house four internal hard disk drive bays alongside three M.2 solid state drive slots. TerraMaster equips the chassis with dual 5 Gbit/s Ethernet ports that support bandwidth bonding for improved network throughput during heavy file transfers.

TerraMaster offers two processor options for the F4-425 Pro: an Core i3-N305 or a faster Intel Core 3 N350. Both chips provide eight CPU cores to handle simultaneous data operations, while the system includes 16 GB of RAM that users can upgrade after purchasing the unit.

The workstation includes three USB-A connectors and one USB-C port capable of transferring data at up to 10 Gbit/s speeds. TerraMaster lists the F4-425 Pro NAS at around $379 for the base configuration with the Intel Core i3-N305 processor.
