DICE has released a major update for Battlefield 6, version 1.2.3.5, which is scheduled to go live on May 5. The patch includes significant improvements to gameplay stability and camera presentation. Developers have also refined netcode synchronisation between first-person and third-person stance transitions.

The update addresses specific technical issues that affected player experience during active matches. One fix corrects an issue where desynchronised stance transitions could cause players to appear to die behind cover. Another resolution ensures the game remains responsive when resuming from a suspended state during gameplay.

Consoles will be able to download Battlefield 6 version 1.000.019 as a preload before the patch becomes installable on May 5. This allows players on console hardware to prepare for the update ahead of its official release date.

The patch also includes various crash and stability fixes alongside updates to progression systems in Operation Augur. Front-end presentation has been improved with changes to squad naming, vehicle naming, and bot redeploy logic.
