Huawei's latest foldable phone is off to a record start. The Pura X Max series sold 343,700 units in its first month as of late May 2026. That figure beats every previous Huawei foldable in the same sales window.

Collector's Edition drives nearly 200,000 units
The Pura X Max is a foldable smartphone from Huawei. It comes in two versions: the standard model and a Collector's Edition. The Collector's Edition accounted for 198,500 units of the total.
The device features a √2:1 screen ratio when unfolded, inspired by A4 paper proportions. Counterpoint Research data confirms the Pura X Max is outperforming the Mate X7 and earlier Pura X models in early weeks.
Sales data comes from leaker @RDObservation, who reported the numbers. Counterpoint Research also validated the strong early performance. The Pura X Max has set a new benchmark for Huawei foldables.
