TT Games has deployed a patch for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight that blocks an exploit allowing early access through a redeemable code. The fix targets a leak that let some players start the game before the official launch.

Patch blocks redeemable code exploit

Players who pre-ordered digitally from the Xbox Store could not access the game early. However, those who already had access before the patch may still be able to play offline. The Digital Deluxe Edition grants 72-hour early access starting May 19.

The full release of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is scheduled for May 22 globally. Digital Deluxe Edition purchasers can play from May 19.

According to Insider Gaming, the patch addresses the exploit but some uncertainty remains about the effectiveness of the offline workaround. TT Games has not commented on the leak or the patch.
