Launch trailer features Seal's iconic song

The game includes over 100 different suits for players to collect. Split-screen co-op gameplay has been shown. The title references Christopher Nolan's Batman movies and other Batman films. According to TT Games' Jonathan Smith, drawing on different aspects of a character allows the team to create wider gameplay that appeals to both younger and older players.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight releases globally on May 22, 2026. Early Access for Deluxe Edition pre-orders begins about two weeks before the launch date.

The game draws from a wide range of Batman film history, including the Christopher Nolan trilogy and other cinematic interpretations. TT Games has not confirmed any additional details about post-launch content or future updates.
