Compact device offers extended mobile broadband access for travelers and remote workers.

The U15S runs on a ZTE V3E-A53 dual-core chipset and features a compact 1.44-inch touchscreen display. The device includes a dual SIM slot for flexible network selection across different carriers. It connects to the internet via Wi-Fi 6 operating strictly on the 2.4GHz band.

Specifications

  • Battery Capacity: 10,000mAh
  • Dimensions: 106 x 55 x 33mm
  • Weight: 237 grams
  • Display: 1.44-inch touchscreen
  • Charging Port & Power: USB-C, 18W (PD, QC, PPS)

The hardware measures 106 by 55 by 33 millimeters and weighs 237 grams. A built-in battery holds 10,000mAh of capacity for long-term operation. The unit charges through a USB-C port that supports up to 18W of power delivery.

Network connectivity relies on standard FDD-LTE bands B1, B3, B5, and B8 alongside TDD-LTE bands B34, B38, B39, B40, and B41. The hotspot supports simultaneous connections for up to 16 devices at once. The dual SIM slot enables simultaneous connection of up to 16 devices, such as smartphones and laptops, via Wi-Fi 6 on the 2.4GHz band.

ZTE sells the U15S in China for 179 yuan CNY (about $26.34). Priced at 179 yuan (approximately $26.34) in China, it offers an affordable option for essential mobile connectivity. Availability remains limited to the Chinese market at this time.

This release follows earlier ZTE hardware announcements such as the G5 Pro 5G AI CPE, which targets fixed broadband setups with Wi-Fi 7 capabilities. With its 10,000mAh battery supporting up to 26 hours of use and support for FDD-LTE/TDD-LTE bands, the U15S prioritizes long-lasting mobile data access over high-speed local area networking.
