The U15S runs on a ZTE V3E-A53 dual-core chipset and features a compact 1.44-inch touchscreen display. The device includes a dual SIM slot for flexible network selection across different carriers. It connects to the internet via Wi-Fi 6 operating strictly on the 2.4GHz band.

This release follows earlier ZTE hardware announcements such as the G5 Pro 5G AI CPE, which targets fixed broadband setups with Wi-Fi 7 capabilities. With its 10,000mAh battery supporting up to 26 hours of use and support for FDD-LTE/TDD-LTE bands, the U15S prioritizes long-lasting mobile data access over high-speed local area networking.
