HP has quietly begun selling the EliteBook X G2q globally. This 14-inch laptop marks a shift to ARM architecture for HP's enterprise lineup. The device replaces x86 processors with Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 chips.

HP equips the laptop with three Snapdragon X2 variants including the Plus and two Elite models for enterprise professionals.

HP designed the EliteBook X G2q for professionals requiring extended battery operation and rapid boot times. It follows the earlier EliteBook Ultra G1q in adopting Windows on ARM design principles. The laptop features a standard business-class design intended for office use.
