Arctic Fox is redesigning how we use computers. They are adding a screen and voice control capability on a wired mouse. This way you can access different tasks without moving between windows or touching the keyboard. This is a useful device for anyone who wants to be more efficient without moving their hand off the mouse.

A 3.1 inch LCD on a mouse is a thermal nightmare. The battery will drain instantly if it is wireless. Since this is wired the heat dissipation into your palm is the real concern. I bet the latency on the touch input is garbage.
Why does a wired mouse need a 720p screen? That resolution is overkill for simple buttons. Is the display just for marketing fluff or does it actually render dynamic content?
It is not for marketing. The screen shows clipboard history and calendar events. You can swipe to navigate desktops. It replaces a secondary trackpad for power users who hate keyboard toggles.
This is not a gaming mouse. The weight distribution will be terrible for FPS games. The wired connection adds drag and the screen makes it top heavy. Stick to a standard mouse for gaming.
I really want to like the convenience of voice dictation built in. It sounds so comfortable for long writing sessions. I just hope the grip feels natural with that big screen sticking out.
