The printer is aimed at hobbyists and designers who want a high level of precision with a small footprint that will work well in smaller workspaces.

Form Studio 1 has UL GREENGUARD Gold certification for low emissions when printing with Formlabs Alpha Resins. The printer aims to be fast while still providing excellent quality with most standard parts taking less than two hours to print according to Formlabs. For users that want to manually clean their prints, the optional Form Studio Wash+Cure station can be purchased for $199.
The Form Studio 1 is now available for order worldwide at a price of $699 and will start shipping on November 16, 2026. The new Alpha Resins are available starting at $29 for 1L of resin so that the material costs remain relatively low.
