The latest smartphone devices in China are currently receiving the stable version of HyperOS 4 from Xiaomi. The update improves the system's smoothness a lot. This update is a must try for those who are currently using laggy devices. This is because Xiaomi has removed a lot of the decoration animations that make the interface messy. In the update, the system is moving towards a minimalistic and simple visual approach. And on the other side, it is improving the performance with the help of some new kernel technologies.

This stable update is supported on many Xiaomi devices like the Xiaomi 17 series (excluding the Xiaomi 17 Max). It is also supported on other devices like the 17T, 17T Pro. Furthermore, it supports the Redmi K100 Pro and Max. It also supports the Redmi K90 and Pro Max. And the Xiaomi Pad 8 and Pro are also supported. All the new high-end and mid-range devices from the company are supported by this update and will be getting the latest software improvements.

A lot of changes have been made to the Xiaomi HyperCore kernel. Especially the load calculation and memory preloading technology are getting added to it. Xiaomi is also working on a separate runtime environment for all the apps on the HyperCore OS. It will help improve the resource scheduling efficiency. This will help in reducing the delay of background operations. So the system will also be responsive to heavy tasks.

The update is smooth in terms of page switching. It is fast and responsive. Also, with the update, the lag of the old versions is almost not noticeable. It looks cleaner and simple. This is because Xiaomi has removed a lot of the extra decoration and hectic animations from the previous versions. All these changes bring the focus on the speed of the functions rather than the visual looks. This will make your overall experience of everyday tasks simpler and better.

Xiaomi is now pushing the stable version in China. However, it has not revealed when global users can get it. The global beta is now expanded to Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra. It is also now extended to Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro (second batch). So, these users can try out the new features. But they will have to wait for the official news about the global stable version update.
