Section 9 Interactive released a patch for End of Abyss that resolves critical gameplay blockers. Players who encountered game freezes or progress locks can now resume their sessions without interruption. The update addresses specific bugs that prevented users from advancing through key map sections.

Patch resolves Cel revival freeze and energy node door bugs
The developer deployed version 1.012 on October 2 across all supported platforms. This release targets PS5, Xbox Series consoles, and PC systems simultaneously. Each platform received the corresponding build to ensure consistent gameplay stability.
- PS5 Version: 1.012
- Xbox Series Version: 1.0.1.2
- PC Version: 1.0.1.2
The patch resolves a freeze that occurred when the character Cel was revived using the Defibrillator mod while taking damage. It also fixes an issue where energy node doors would fail to open if the player died between destroying nodes. The fix unblocks any users who were previously stuck by this error.
Map issues including missing rooms and doors showing as reset after restarting have been resolved. Section 9 Interactive included other minor fixes and improvements in this update. The changes apply to version 1.012 on PS5 and version 1.0.1.2 on Xbox Series and PC.
