Arcade Distillery has made The Light in the Darkness: Director’s Cut free for all PS5 owners. This move removes the financial barrier for players who want to experience the expanded version of the title without purchasing it. Gamers can now download the full game directly from the PlayStation Store at no cost.

Expanded PS5 version includes full voice acting and no microtransactions

The release is currently exclusive to the console. A version for PC users is scheduled to arrive in October. The game builds upon the 2023 PS4 original by adding full voice acting and new animations. These updates extend the narrative significantly compared to the initial release.
