Genshin Impact players can now resume their progress in the Snezhnaya Archon Quests after miHoYo released a patch addressing critical bugs. The update resolves issues that previously blocked story progression and corrected several gameplay mechanics that had been affected by recent changes. This fix matters because it removes the barriers that were preventing players from completing key objectives in the current storyline.

miHoYo patches critical bugs blocking Snezhnaya Archon Quests and UI glitches

The developer released fixes for Genshin Impact version 7.1, which introduced new 5-star heroines Spring and Hydro Nymph. The patch targets specific problems encountered during the Archon Quests White Night After a Long Sleep and One Last Chance. Players using the walkie-talkie mechanic in the Vault of the One Last Chance stage will now see more precise instructions that guide them through the blue boundary.

miHoYo fixed a bug that prevented players from possessing the Koholazaur in the dungeon Black Feathers, Fallen at the Hour of Farewell. The developer also corrected the Stardust reaction damage, ensuring that Pyro and Geo attacks now properly destroy the Ice Casket of the Ice Witch and Ice Guardian. Red notification icons in the Event Overview menu no longer fail to disappear, cleaning up the user interface for active players.

An error in the English voice acting for some cutscenes in the White Night After a Long Sleep and One Last Chance quests remains unresolved. The developers acknowledged that spoken lines did not match the on-screen text and plan to fix this mismatch in a future update. Some players reported that the game fails to launch after installing version 7.1, but no solution has been found yet. miHoYo did not specify when it plans to release the next patch to address these remaining issues.

When we covered the last Genshin Impact update, several of the same balance and stability themes came up. The current patch focuses on restoring functionality for stuck quests and correcting combat mechanics that were impacted by the new content. Players should check for the latest update to ensure they can progress through the Archon Quests without interruption.
