Luma Island originally launched on PC via Steam on November 20, 2025. The console version retains the core homesteading mechanics while adding deeper exploration elements. Players can venture into perilous jungles, mysterious caverns, and ancient temples filled with traps and hidden treasures.
The game eliminates stamina meters and inventory restrictions to allow unrestricted exploration. Players can farm, mine, fish, and build without artificial limits on their progress. The title supports four-player cross-platform cooperative play across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Luma Island features three tailored gameplay modes to suit different skill levels. The Cozy mode offers peaceful exploration with optional combat for casual players.
