Nintendo is launching a special edition Switch 2 console to mark the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda. The console features green Joy-Con 2 controllers with gold accents and a dock displaying the Triforce symbol. Nintendo positions this as a premium alternative to the base Switch 2. The package does not include The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which remains a separate purchase.
The special edition console costs $519.99 and ships on October 29. Nintendo offers a matching Pro Controller for $99.99 in standard form or $109.99 with a display stand. A themed carrying case with a screen protector is available for $39.99.
