8BitDo is releasing the Cozy Collection, a new set of gaming peripherals designed specifically for Xbox users who want to mix retro aesthetics with modern functionality. This lineup matters because it offers a cohesive visual theme that ties together the controller, mouse, and keyboard for a unified desk setup. Buyers looking to refresh their Xbox gaming station now have a single brand option that covers all three input types with a specific woodland-inspired design language.

New peripherals feature sage green accents and wooden elements for Xbox users

The collection centers on three devices: the 8BitDo Ultimate 3 controller, the R8 mouse, and the Retro 87 mechanical keyboard. All items are built to work with Xbox consoles and PCs, ensuring broad compatibility for the target audience. The Ultimate 3 controller is the newest addition to the group, arriving in a distinct Mossy Lagoon colorway that sets it apart from standard black or white variants.

Specifications

  • Controller Model: 8BitDo Ultimate 3
  • Controller Color: Mossy Lagoon
  • Mouse Model: 8BitDo R8
  • Keyboard Model: Retro 87
  • Controller Price: $99.99

Design details define the Cozy Collection more than raw performance metrics. The peripherals feature sage green accents, wooden elements, and pixel art illustrations of woodland creatures. These visual choices create a cohesive look across the three devices, appealing to users who prioritize desk aesthetics alongside gaming utility. The Retro 87 keyboard and R8 mouse bring this specific theme to the PC gaming side of the Xbox ecosystem.

Pricing and availability vary slightly between the items in the bundle. The Ultimate 3 controller is available for pre-order at 99.99 USD (around $99.99) and will begin shipping on September 29th. The R8 mouse and Retro 87 keyboard are already on sale for 59.99 USD (around $59.99) and 119.99 USD (around $120) respectively. This staggered release allows users to purchase the older items immediately while waiting for the new controller.

8BitDo continues to expand its Xbox-compatible accessory line with this themed release. The Cozy Collection provides a complete peripheral set for users who want matching hardware. The controller ships in late September, while the mouse and keyboard are ready for immediate purchase.
