DJI is reportedly preparing to launch the Osmo Pocket 4P, a dual-camera gimbal camera that aims to bridge the gap between consumer vlogging and professional cinematography. According to leaked specifications, the device will feature a primary camera with a 1-inch 50MP sensor and a 20mm equivalent lens with a variable aperture of f/1.7 to f/2.8, offering improved depth-of-field control and low-light performance.

Leaked specs include 6K video and 17 stops dynamic range

The telephoto camera is said to use a 1/1.5-inch 48MP sensor with a 70mm equivalent f/2.8 lens, enabling 3x optical zoom. The Osmo Pocket 4P is expected to support 6K video at 60fps and 4K slow motion at 240fps. DJI has confirmed that the camera will offer 17 stops of dynamic range with the D-Log2 color profile, a feature typically found in high-end mirrorless cameras.

Pricing for the Osmo Pocket 4P in Europe is rumored to be between €749 and €799, though it is unclear whether this applies to the standard model or a Creator Combo bundle. The device is expected to become official within the next few weeks.

The leaked information comes from sources on Weibo and Xdrones Studio. As with any rumor, the details should be treated with caution until DJI makes an official announcement.
