Asus has released a new Snapdragon-powered version of its 14-inch Zenbook in China, giving buyers a choice between high-end and mid-tier AI processors. This expansion matters because it clarifies the performance gap between the flagship X Plus chip and the newer X1-26-100 variant. Users looking for a lightweight laptop with strong battery life now have a specific model to consider rather than waiting for an international launch.

Snapdragon X1-26-100 processor and 2.8K OLED display details

The laptop is equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon X X1-26-100 processor, which reaches up to 2.97 GHz. It pairs this CPU with integrated Adreno graphics and a Hexagon NPU that delivers up to 45 TOPS of AI performance. The device carries the UX3480Q model number in China and UX3480QA on international websites. We have not seen an international release date or pricing yet.

Specifications

  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon X X1-26-100
  • Graphics: Integrated Adreno graphics
  • NPU Performance: Up to 45 TOPS
  • Clock Speed: Up to 2.97 GHz
  • RAM: 16 GB LPDDR5X

The 14-inch OLED display offers a 2,880 x 1,800 resolution with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space and reaches 500 nits of typical brightness. The screen peaks at 1,100 nits in HDR mode. The system includes 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 512 GB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Connectivity options include one USB-A port, two USB-C ports, HDMI 2.1, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.

At 1.1 kg, the laptop is slightly heavier than some competitors but remains portable. It houses a 50 Wh battery, which Asus advertises can last up to 21 hours. Notebookcheck comparison data indicates the Snapdragon X X1-26-100 delivers around 85% of the average performance of the Snapdragon X Plus X1P-64-100. We touched on Asus ExpertBook P3 G2 in our earlier Asus coverage while tracking these hardware updates.
