Bungie has released Marathon Update 1.030 for game version 1.1.5.5 on August 25. This patch targets specific balance issues in the Ordnance Heist activity that players have encountered. The changes aim to improve crew coordination and reward pacing for participants in this mode.

Patch boosts Firestorm Locker Keys and fixes progression bugs

The update introduces several adjustments to the Firestorm Locker system. Players now receive three Firestorm Locker Keys upon completing a key template, up from the previous single key. This change accelerates access to the locker's contents for teams working through the activity.

Bungie also tweaked the loot distribution within the Firestorm Arms Locker. The update increases the number of rolls for implants and cores that have a higher chance of Prestige quality. At the same time, the count for weapon chips and consumables in these rolls has been reduced.

Several technical bugs affecting progression and rewards have been fixed. The patch resolves an issue where UESC Manifests were not shared among crew members upon exfiltration. It also stops the Hidden Cache in the Cryo Archive from granting XP and MIDA reputation continuously when opened. We looked at the last Marathon update earlier while tracking Bungie's recent patches.
