Torn Banner releases update 1.006 to address server connectivity and firearm balance
The release introduces version 1.0.4.0, also labeled as Update 1.006. This patch targets specific technical bottlenecks that previously disrupted gameplay in certain regions. The developers focused on stabilizing the online infrastructure to reduce unexpected disconnections.
Server routing changes now better support players in continental Asia. The update also adds disconnect forgiveness logic for Responder characters to prevent unfair losses. Weapon balance adjustments reduce initial and maximum spread for the Gruber 922, M7, and MP5. These changes aim to make firearms more consistent during combat.
Controller users received fixes for scoreboard navigation and mute functionality. The patch resolves UI focus issues that previously hindered menu interactions. Developers also increased the sensitivity ceiling from 2 to 6. New confirmation prompts now appear when exiting to the main menu to prevent accidental exits.
