Mechrevo has entered the budget laptop market with a device that challenges the pricing of Apple’s premium offerings. The Wujie 14S 2026 lists for around $578, which is roughly 30 percent less than the MacBook Neo in China. This price gap gives budget-conscious buyers a viable alternative for basic computing tasks without the Apple tax.
Wildcat Lake processor and 12GB RAM target budget buyers
The laptop runs on Intel’s new Wildcat Lake architecture, specifically the Core 5 315 processor. This chip features six cores, combining two performance cores with four low-power efficiency cores. It pairs this CPU with a 2-core Intel Xe3 integrated graphics unit, targeting entry-level users rather than gamers.

Sales begin on August 28, 2024, and the launch is currently limited to the Chinese market. The listed price starts at CNY 4,199 (around $622), though preorder discounts on JD.com bring it down to CNY 3,899 (around $578). This entry-level Wildcat Lake machine is now available for purchase in China.
