ACCESSORIES

Ugreen has added a 25W Qi2 wireless charger to its lineup, and this model targets users who want fast charging without the heat buildup that often slows down modern phones. The device ships with an active cooling system and a smart display, which helps you monitor charging speeds and device temperature in real time. You should care about this release if you frequently charge Qi2-compatible smartphones and want to avoid the throttling that occurs when devices get too warm during high-speed charging sessions.

Active TEC cooling prevents overheating during fast wireless charging

The charger supports up to 25W of magnetic power delivery for compatible Qi2 phones while simultaneously providing a dedicated 5W pad for earbuds like AirPods at the base. It features a built-in TEC cooling fan that actively lowers the phone's temperature to as low as 68°F (20°C) to prevent overheating during the charging process. The unit also includes mechanical adjustments for better viewing angles, offering 360-degree rotation and up to 90-degree tilt capabilities to suit different desk setups.

Specifications

  • Charging Standard: Qi2
  • Max Wireless Output: 25W
  • Cooling Technology: TEC cooling fan
  • Cooling Performance: 68°F (20°C)
  • Display Features: Real-time power, temperature, alerts

A smart display on the charger shows real-time power output, phone temperature, and alerts for low-input power conditions. The device connects via a USB-C cable, but it does not include a power adapter in the box. Ugreen recommends using a 45W power adapter to achieve the full 25W charging speed for phones.

The new Ugreen 25W 2-in-1 wireless charger is available in the US for $79.99. It has already surfaced on Amazon in the US, and there is no word yet on an official launch date or when it might reach other markets. We touched on Ugreen Launches 10000mAh Qi2 15W Magnetic in our earlier Ugreen coverage.

The launch of the Ugreen 25W Cooling 2-in-1 Wireless Charger highlights the company's emphasis on active cooling technology for wireless charging accessories. The product is currently listed and available for purchase in the US market.
