ACCESSORIES

Bluetti has introduced the Balco Series, a new line of balcony solar power solutions. The lineup includes the Balco 260, Balco 500, and Balco Transfer Hub. The company unveiled the products at an event in Paris.

Balco 260 and Balco 500 offer modular storage

The Balco 260 and Balco 500 are storage systems for balcony power plants. They combine MPPT controllers, inverters, and modular battery storage. The Balco 260 supports up to 15 kWh of battery capacity, while the Balco 500 can reach up to 30 kWh. Both systems feed up to 800 W into the home grid. The Balco 260 can accept up to 2,400 W of PV power via four MPPTs and deliver a total output of up to 2,300 W. The Balco 500 handles up to 4,300 W of PV power with a high-voltage MPPT design and offers a total output of up to 3,680 W. Bluetti uses a 5VA flame-retardant housing and a predictive intelligent Battery Management System for safety.

Spec comparison

Spec Balco 260 Balco 500
Max PV input power 2400 W 4300 W
Max feed-in power 800 W 800 W
Max total output 2300 W 3680 W
Battery capacity up to 15 kWh up to 30 kWh
MPPT voltage range N/A 70 to 470 V

The Balco Transfer Hub is a grid-tied controller. It allows portable power stations from various manufacturers to be used as storage for a balcony power plant. Bluetti says the hub offers scenario-based applications, AI optimization, and cross-platform interoperability.

Bluetti has not announced pricing or availability for the Balco Series. However, interested customers can register on a promotion page to receive a 20% discount and a €500 voucher.
