Asus has announced the release date for its ROG Xreal R1 AR glasses in Europe and North America. Pre-orders will begin on May 17, 2025, with the product shipping during the summer.

The ROG Xreal R1 features Micro-OLED displays with a 240Hz refresh rate and a 0.01ms response time. It can project a virtual screen up to 171 inches with a 57-degree field of view. The glasses offer native 3DoF with head tracking and Auto Transparency.
