Lego may be planning two unusual Super Heroes sets for 2027. This is based on details circulating from an alleged internal product document. Fans following the Spider-Verse franchise may want to monitor these reports for updates. If released, these sets would add to Lego's offerings for adult collectors.
Leaked internal documents reveal specs for two new adult-oriented builds
The first leak points to set 67012, called Joker Art. This piece count includes 1,849 pieces. The set costs $169.99 in the US. Lego has not officially confirmed either set, so the details remain unverified leaks.
Set 67012 targets a January 1, 2027 release date. The build style reportedly mimics Lego 31209 The Amazing Spider-Man rather than using a flat mosaic. The construction method for the Joker set uses a dimensional style distinct from flat mosaic portraits. The second leak involves set 67016, reportedly named Peni's Sp//der Mech.
Peni's Sp//der Mech arrives in April 2027 according to the report. The leak suggests this set is part of a Spider-Verse wave. The wave would include Miles Morales and The Spot. One leaked graphic calls the set part of Beyond the Spider-Verse, while its artwork uses imagery from Across the Spider-Verse.
Previous reports have covered similar Spider-Verse Lego leaks in the context of Marvel merchandise. Lego has not confirmed either set, so the reported details should be treated as only leaks for now. The January 1, 2027 date for the Joker set remains unverified. The April 2027 window for the Peni Parker mech is also subject to change.
