Fallen Tear: The Ascension leaves Early Access and launches on PC via Steam on September 16. This full release doubles the content available during the Early Access period, adding 10 new regions, 5 new main bosses, 19 new optional bosses, and 11 new Fated Bonds. Players who followed the development can now experience the complete narrative arc that the studio has been building toward since the project began.
Winter Crew Studios adds 10 regions and 5 main bosses to the 1.0 release
Winter Crew Studios developed the title, which is now available as a standalone purchase on PC. The game offers 35 to 40 hours of story content for standard playthroughs. Players chasing full completion will find more than 80 hours of material to explore. The 1.0 release includes progression systems that expand with 3 additional Ascensions, 6 Hunter Skills, 4 Elemental Imbuements, and 16 Mastery Skills.
Winter Crew Studios creative director Stephen Manalastas said, "Early Access let us build Fallen Tear: The Ascension alongside the community that plays it, and their feedback shaped everything from combat balance to how the Fated Bonds feel in a fight. On September 16 the story finally comes together, with new regions, new bonds and an ending we’ve been building toward since we started this project." The studio used community feedback to refine combat mechanics and character interactions throughout the development cycle.
The game launches for PC via Steam on September 16. It is priced at $24.99 / €24.99 / £21.99 with a 10 percent launch discount available for the first 14 days. The full release offers 35 to 40 hours of story content and more than 80 hours for players chasing full completion. Console versions are planned but specific dates and platforms are not yet announced.
