Activision has confirmed that Call of Duty Mobile will receive a new large-scale battle royale map later this year. The Gulag feature is also returning to the game.
Gulag revival confirmed for Call of Duty Mobile
The announcement came from Jeff Gullet, who stated that the team is committed to expanding the battle royale experience. He confirmed the Gulag's return, noting that the studio heard community feedback after removing it.
More details about the new map and the Gulag revival will be shared during the game's anniversary season later this year. Gullet encouraged players to continue providing feedback on what they like and want changed.
The Gulag was previously replaced by a dogtag revival system, but many players were disappointed with the change. The upcoming update aims to address that feedback.
