EA is handing control of Career Mode objectives directly to players in EA FC 27. This shift lets fans design custom challenges and share them with the wider community. You can now shape how your own career mode plays out instead of following a fixed script. The feature arrives when the Closed Beta launches on August 5.
Community-designed objectives arrive in the August 5 closed beta
The new Creator Challenges tool lives inside a dedicated portal on the mobile app and PC. Players build their own objectives and distribute them using unique codes. EA plans to pull popular community challenges into the official game if they gain enough traction. The studio also partners with content creators to release exclusive challenges that include custom kits.
Pete O’Donnell, the Senior Game Design Director, wants these community takeovers to feel fresh and unexpected. He told reporters that he hopes creators will design challenges that differ from internal team ideas. The goal is to let anyone from a YouTuber to a Reddit user share their own unique scenarios. O’Donnell noted that even a bedroom creator who gathers a thousand players deserves a spot in the game.
We looked at EA Sports FC 26 Update 1.27 in our earlier Ea coverage. That previous patch fixed Career Mode and Clubs errors for the current version. EA FC 27 closes the beta window on August 5 for global players to test the new creator tools.
