Respawn Entertainment has released a new update for Apex Legends on May 13. The patch is labeled version 3.10 or 1.000.124.
Patch improves UI and reduces Conduit overlay
The update improves the transition screen UI to better indicate loading. It also reduces the color overlay effect of Conduit's passive ability. Several issues are under investigation, including graphics and brightness settings resetting after a relaunch, respawn problems that cause missing backpacks and hop-ups, and performance issues on various devices. Caustic's traps are triggering other traps, and audio issues persist. Increased FPS drops tied to specific CPUs have been reported since the start of the season.
Fixes are in progress for several problems. An Xbox crash linked to in-game chat is being addressed. Some Nessies are missing from the firing range, and Valkyrie's vision is blocked when using a shield cell with specific skins. Players on Xbox cannot purchase the Ultimate+ Battle Pass tier. A server error occurs when batch-opening 50 Wishlist or upgraded Apex Packs.
Respawn Entertainment has not confirmed a timeline for the fixes. The ongoing issues continue to affect gameplay across platforms.
