New displays from Dell, Alienware, and Redmi push refresh rates and resolution into the sub-$200 bracket
Dell is launching two new 27-inch IPS models, the SE2726HGS and SE2726HG, to compete in the high-refresh 1080p segment. These screens run at 240Hz with a standard 5ms response time that drops to 0.5ms in extreme mode. They cover 99% of the sRGB color space and start at $140.

This model offers 400 nits of brightness and 99% sRGB coverage for a price of around $175. Meanwhile, Xiaomi’s Redmi brand is introducing two 27-inch 1440p options. The Redmi G27Q 2026 hits 320Hz with 10-bit color for roughly $190, while the standard G27Q 240Hz variant offers HDR400 support for similar pricing.
ViewSonic and KTC are rounding out the list with aggressive overclocking options. The ViewSonic VA27G11-2 is a 27-inch 1080p IPS panel that runs at 144Hz but can overclock to 175Hz for just $84. Panel costs have dropped significantly, allowing brands to pack 1440p resolution and 200Hz+ refresh rates into the sub-$200 bracket. The Redmi G27Q 2026 is currently available only in China, and global availability for this model remains unconfirmed.
