Xbox owners with a backlog of drained controllers now have a dedicated way to keep their wireless gear powered for the console's 25th anniversary. 8BitDo released the Ultimate Charging Dock for Xbox Controllers in a special X25 edition that targets players who want a tidy, always-ready setup for their |X or Xbox One controllers. This accessory matters because it moves charging from a loose cable tangle to a fixed station with a built-in power bank, which reduces the need to hunt for spare batteries or USB ports during gaming sessions.

Translucent green dock includes 1000mAh battery for Xbox controllers

The dock itself features a translucent green design that matches the celebratory theme of the anniversary. It connects to any Xbox Series S|X Wireless controller or Xbox One controller to provide a stable charging point. The device includes a 1000mAh wireless rechargeable battery that sits inside the dock to store power for the controllers. The dock's built-in 1000mAh battery enables wireless charging for compatible Xbox controllers without requiring a constant connection to a power outlet.

The hardware focuses on compatibility with Microsoft's standard wireless controllers rather than supporting third-party or older wired models. The translucent green casing serves as the primary aesthetic feature for this special edition release. The 1000mAh capacity provides a moderate amount of stored energy, enough to top off controllers between play sessions. The design prioritizes a clean look for the gaming setup while keeping the charging mechanism simple and direct.

We looked at the 8BitDo Forza Horizon 6 Charging Dock in our earlier coverage to see how this vendor handles Xbox accessories. The X25 Special Edition follows that pattern by offering a themed design for the same core charging functionality. Players who prefer a dedicated charging station over loose cables will find this dock useful for keeping their controllers ready. The product is priced at $39.99 and is available for pre-order ahead of an October 20 release.

The Ultimate Charging Dock for Xbox Controllers X25 Special Edition ships on October 20 for $39.99. This release gives Xbox players a themed, battery-backed charging solution for their wireless controllers. The X25 Special Edition is currently available for pre-order ahead of its October 20 release date.
