Senior combat designer Tom Marcham said that differing opinions on the portrayal of Bond are a positive sign. Narrative director Martin Emborg praised actor Patrick Gibson's performance, calling him charismatic and likable.

007: First Light will launch globally in the last week of May 2026. It will be the first Bond console game in over a decade.
