Xbox Game Pass Adds 8 New Games in July, Including Gears of War: Reloaded
GAMES

Microsoft is adding eight new titles to Xbox Game Pass this month, giving subscribers immediate access to a mix of major franchises and indie experiments. This update matters because it expands the library for both console and PC players without requiring additional purchases. Subscribers can start playing these games as soon as they hit the service on their respective release dates.

Gears of War: Reloaded and Quarantine Zone join Premium tier on July 9

The most significant addition is Gears of War: Reloaded, which joins Game Pass Premium, Game Pass Ultimate, and PC Game Pass. Microsoft also brought Quarantine Zone: The Last Check to the Premium tier alongside its other subscription levels. These two titles are available globally starting July 9, 2026, offering early access to fans of the series and new narrative experiences.

  • New Games Added: 8
  • Gears of War: Reloaded Availability: Game Pass Premium, Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass
  • Tamashika Availability: Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, PC Game Pass
  • Ascend to Zero Availability: Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass
  • PBA Pro Bowling 2026 Availability: Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, PC Game Pass

Several other games round out the mid-month lineup with specific platform availability. Ascend to Zero and Fogpiercer arrive on July 13 and July 17 respectively, but Fogpiercer is exclusive to PC and Game Pass Ultimate. PBA Pro Bowling 2026, Mavrix by Matt Jones, FixForce, The Planet Crafter, and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 all join Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass on dates ranging from July 14 to July 21.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 and The Planet Crafter share a July 21 arrival date, providing a strong finish to the month's additions. We looked at the last Xbox Game Pass update, several of the same balance and stability themes came up. Microsoft also revealed a list of games leaving the service in July 2026, so players should check the removal schedule to avoid missing out on titles they want to keep.

The complete schedule ensures steady content flow through the end of July. Subscribers can plan their gaming sessions around these specific drop dates. Microsoft continues to use Game Pass Premium to tier certain high-profile releases while keeping most additions accessible to standard Ultimate and PC subscribers.
